Lori Peabody

Lori joined Quiet Corner Cares Committee to help raise money for the women's sober living home in Putnam. This home is very near and dear to her heart. Lori lost her daughter, Melissa, 5 years ago to drugs and alcohol. She and her husband, Ed, also sponsored a room at the home in her daughter's name and memory.

Lori and Ed live in Eastford with their granddaughter Ella. Lori had set a nice living space for Ella to come to and took her every other weekend and more to help her father during the transitional stage after Melissa's passing. Unfortunately, Ella's father passed 17 months later from a heart attack and has since been residing with Lori and Ed.

Lori loves raising her grandaughter and also her involvement with the Quiet Corner Cares committee. Helping all women in the home.
